About Connie's
Connie's Coop is a not-for-profit farm animal sanctuary in North Queensland, Australia. Established in 2016 we have rescued over 2,000 animals so far. Our mission is to provide a safe haven for rescued farm animals, allowing them to live peaceful and fulfilling lives. We believe in promoting compassion and educating the community about farmed animals and wildlife. Our sanctuary offers a space for healing, connection, and love, where visitors can learn about our residents and the importance of treating all beings with kindness at our open days.
Our Animals
Our sanctuary is home to a diverse range of rescued farm animals. Each resident has a unique story and personality. We care for chickens, pigs, ducks, geese, turkeys, and guinea fowl, among others. These animals receive individualised care, including medical attention, nutritious diets, and enrichment activities. We also rescue and care for injured and orphaned wildlife. We strive to provide them with the best possible quality of life, ensuring they can express their natural behaviours in a safe environment.
How to help
There are many ways to support Connie's Coop and make a difference in the lives of our animals. Financial donations help us cover essential costs like food, medical care, and facility maintenance. Volunteering your time is invaluable - we always need help with animal care, property upkeep, and special events. You can also sponsor an animal, participate in our educational programs, or spread awareness about our cause on social media and in your community.
